Q. Do you carry “eco-friendly” products?
Yes. We have many fabrics, wallpapers and shade materials which are made from certified organic fibers. We also have fabrics made from recycled fibers such as cotton. Many of these products are made in the USA.
Q. How do we work together to start a project?
We begin by meeting in your home and discussing what you would like to achieve. We can start to plan any project; window treatments, shutters, a whole room look, upholstery options, wallpaper, bed ensembles…we have the resources to help you with a wide range of interior choices in the comfort of your home. We will make the process seamless and enjoyable.
Q. How long does it take to complete a window covering order?
The time will be determined by the size and scope of the project. Usual time frames are:
4-6 weeks for drapery/fabric Roman Shade orders
5 weeks for shutters
2-3 weeks for wood blinds, woven wood shades, roller shades and solar shades
Q. Do you offer installation? If so who does this?
Of course we offer installation-our goal is to work with you from start to finish to ensure that your window treatments-shades, draperies, shutters, wallpaper, whatever-are just exactly what you wanted! Our team of expert, certified installers makes sure your order is perfect.
Q. Do you make anything else?
Absolutely. We can design and create duvet covers, coverlets, pillows, shams and bed skirts for your bedroom, and accessories for every room in your house. We also make our one of a kind shutter with a fabric insert custom made to fit any size window…these are perfect for entryways, closet windows, powder and bath rooms.
Q. What type of window covering should I use if I don’t want to block the light, but I need more privacy?
This is an issue we are expert at dealing with. A well-planned and executed window treatment will give you an uninterrupted view and full light during the day and at night time provide you with complete privacy.
Q. My floors and furniture are fading, how can I protect them while still enjoying the sunlight?
UV film is the perfect solution. The film is installed on the inside of the glass and provides a 99.9% UV block. This will help to greatly reduce the amount of sun damage and allow you to enjoy the light and view without worries. We can help you pick the best type of film for your specific location.
Q. Do you provide upholstery/slip cover services?
Yes, we work hand in hand with our upholstery and refinishing partner who brings new life to fine furniture. We can provide you with a wide range of high quality upholstery weight fabrics. We can also have your fabrics stain treated if necessary. Our services include pickup and delivery of your furniture.
Q. I want to motorize the shades, drapes, blinds and shutters in my house, is this possible?
Yes. All of these treatments can be motorized with hard wiring or by remote. We’ll be glad to provide you with detailed information about our products and services.
Q. What are your payment options?
We accept personal checks, cash and electronic payments through Intuit Payment Network (this is done through a link on our invoices which allows you to securely pay a deposit or balance directly from your bank to ours with no fee attached.)
